Car Washing

This weekend (25th, 26th) Lucy and I went to my Nana's house and walked around the neighbourhood looking for cars to wash. We got rejected by lots of people but ended up washing 11 cars over the whole weekend. We charged $20 per car and with the help of donations we ended up making $231 dollars which was split evenly. We both got $115.50 dollars each! It was a great successful two days and I had so much fun.

Thank you to everyone who donated to my Givealittle in the past days!

Hi I’m Sophia. I am a year 8 student at Selwyn house school and I am raising money so that I can represent New Zealand in an international competition in America. Some of my interests are speech and drama and Kapa Haka. In the photo I am swinging the Purerehua for my school. I won the speech finals for my school and I am the leader of the school Kapa Haka group. I have never been to America before and I am so excited to go and enjoy the learning
