Hello all,

It's been a few hours since I got off the last flight from Auckland and I am feeling a strange mix of energy and tiredness at the same time. My team left the United States with a big shiny third place trophy for presentation of action plan. In the F.P.S competition there are two diffrent things that a team could get a prize for; The first thing is the booklet competition, this is what we do all our research for, this competition takes two hours the last part of the booklet that teams need to fill out is called the action plan. The action plan sums up the teams solution to what ever the future problem may have been. The second thing a team could win a prize for is the presentation of action plan, this is pretty much a four minute skit that explains what the teams action plan is. The presentation of action plan is performed to two judges ten other teams and then the judges select two teams from their room to go into the finals where the winners for each division are decided. In our division there were about 70 teams.

I am so proud of my team and what we have accomplished. I give so many thanks to our wonderful coaches; Mr Pearce and Mrs Wilson, who not only taught us what we needed to know but inspired us to keep going. I had so much fun on this trip. My team and I stopped in New York on the way to Massachusetts and we went to some truly wonderful places like the lego store, the world of harry potter store, F.A.O Schwarz ( which is where the key board and the Zoltar from the movie "Big" lives) and of course the M'nM store. I think my highlight of the trip would either be seeing Aladdin on broadway or getting to see the statue of liberty! I want to thank anyone who did any thing to help me on this life changing journey; even if it was just supporting me or giving me kind and encouraging words I couldn't have done this alone and I am genuinely so thankful. I have included some pictures of my trip for you to look at.

This is my last post on this blog!

Thank you for following along and joining me in this adventure!
